Dr. Curtis A. Johnson Jr. hails from a pediatric practice in East Orange, New Jersey where multi-generations of children and their parents fondly called him “Dr. J.” A native of Jersey City, New Jersey, “Dr. J” began his career in New Jersey after attending Brown University in Rhode Island and coming home to Rutgers Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. J. began his private practice in1984 and retired from a full-time practice in 2019. During this time, he also served as a Rutgers Medical School Clinical Pediatric Instructor where he mentored and trained future pediatricians.
